Policies

The following outlines the intended design services Kingdom Graphic Designs, LLC provides.  Projects are created by the needs presented by the client and are to be agreed upon and followed. By proceeding with projects by Kingdom Graphic Designs, LLC, the client is also agreeing to the following terms and conditions:

 

 

Graphic Design

Allow 3 business days for the initial draft of the requested graphic design. Once draft site is complete, the client will have up to 48 hours to review and respond with revisions. Once revisions have been received, allow 24-48 hours for the following corrections to be completed - per round.

 

Each project is allotted up to 5 revisions. There will be an additional fee for additional revisions beyond the amount allotted. If the client requests additional revisions after the project has closed, an additional fee (up to half the initial price of the project) will be charged and is due before the start of revisions. Please review your proof carefully before submitting a request for revisions.

Graphic Design Payment Policy

At Kingdom Graphic Designs, LLC, we are committed to providing high-quality design services supported by our time, expertise, and professional resources. To ensure fairness and clarity for both our clients and our team, the following policy applies to all design projects:

1. Payment for Completed Designs

Once a design project has been completed by our team, the full project fee becomes due, regardless of the client’s subsequent use of the design. This includes, but is not limited to, situations where:

  • The client’s event is canceled or postponed

  • The client chooses not to use the design

  • The client changes project direction after completion

  • Any other reason unrelated to the quality or completion of the design

2. Reason for This Policy

Design work requires significant time, effort, skill, and specialized resources. When a project is completed, these assets have already been invested. As a result, payment is required to compensate for the work performed, independent of how or whether the final design is used.



 

Book Websites

ONLY FOR CONTRACT BOOK PUBLISHING CLIENTS
Allow 14 business days for the initial website development. Once the draft site is complete, the client will have 48-72 hours to review and respond with revisions. Once revisions have been received, allow 4 business days for the requested revisions to be completed - per round. We do not design full websites consisting of more than 3 pages. If the client has a third-party contract stating a specific amount of pages or web design, we will only honor what is written.

 

Each project is allotted up to 5 revisions. Please review your proof carefully before submitting a request for revisions. There will be an additional fee for additional revisions beyond the amount allotted. If additional revisions are requested by the client after the project has closed, an additional fee (up to half the initial price of the project) will be charged and is due prior to the start of revisions.

 

The quote for the initial project is only good for the duration of the project. Not to exceed 30 calendar days. Any book website exceeding 30 calendar days in development due to the client will incur additional fees of up to $25 per day in addition to any additional revisions beyond what is allotted.

 

 

Custom Book Covers

Allow 7-14 business days for the initial cover design. Once the draft site is complete, the client will have 48-72 hours to review and respond with revisions. Once revisions have been received, allow 4 days for the requested revisions to be completed - per round.

 

 

Here is a general guideline to use for word count for back cover design:

 

Book Size / Word Count

5 x 8 in.

350 words
 

6 x 9 in.

450 words
 

8 ¼ x 11 in.

925 words

 

*Review and respond with all revisions within 48-72 hours of receiving the complete draft.

 

All draft work will be submitted to the client for review with our logo or watermark. Once a final decision has been made for design, our logo or watermark will be removed and the client’s final work will be sent in the appropriate files.

Timeframe & Delivery

Every project has a beginning and an end. The beginning is when we receive the client's request and agree to enter into a business relationship (i.e. complete your project). The deadline date is based on your project. Graphic Design work is not to exceed 7 business days. Book Websites are not to exceed 30 calendar days. Custom Book Covers are not to exceed 30 calendar days. In the event your project goes beyond the deadline date due to Kingdom Graphic Designs, the client will not incur any additional fees. If due to the client, the client will be responsible for paying any applicable additional fees.

 

Once projects have been completed and approved by the client, KGD will submit them via email in the appropriate files, thus ending our business relationship for the initial project.



Revisions

All graphic designs, including book websites and book covers, are allotted 5 revisions once the initial draft has been received and reviewed. Revisions beyond the allotted number will require an additional $35 fee per change. Once the project has been completed and closed, the additional fee will be applied to open and revise. Please carefully review your proof prior to submitting a request for revisions.

 

 

Image Use

We do not recommend using images from the internet for your designs or websites due to copyright. Instead, provide your original work, purchased stock photos, or personal photographs. We also recommend using sites that provide copyright-free images (Creative Commons images). If you are uncertain, please ask us for help.

 

Will not accept screenshots, filtered photos, or photographs taken of the desired image. All images for artwork must be original, clear, and text-free.

 

 

Invoices & Payment

All quotations given are estimates only, unless otherwise negotiated and noted in writing on your quotation. All quotes will expire within 7 days of receipt.
Your complete project will determine your final invoice. Quotes for projects billed at an hourly rate are available upon request prior to project commencement.

 

A 50% deposit of the quoted rate must be made before the start of a project unless otherwise stated in writing. Invoices may be paid via credit/debit card, Paypal, or Cash App. 

 

All invoices are payable upon receipt unless otherwise noted.

 

Abandoned Status

If a client should abandon a project or contract after work has commenced, an invoice shall be issued for the full quoted amount, regardless of project status on abandonment. If the client has abandoned a project, they forfeit the opportunity to receive work from Kingdom Graphic Designs until the prior invoice has been paid in full.

 

Unpaid Invoices

Invoices are generally due upon receipt. If the client has a delinquent invoice of 30 days, all projects and future services will be put on hold until payment is received. This does not apply to clients with whom we have an established agreement, such as a Net 15 or Net 30 payment arrangement.

 

Refunds

Kingdom Graphic Designs. LLC generally does not offer refunds under any circumstance (except in the case of copyright infringement).

 

Right to Refuse

Kingdom Graphic Designs, LLC is a Christian company. We reserve the right to refuse or decline a project that goes against our religious views and convictions.
